Colorize Myeongdong is a professional personal color analysis (퍼스널컬러 진단) studio housed in the annex of Sejong Hotel, just steps from Myeongdong Station. Using the globally recognized PANTONE color system and purpose-built smart lighting, a trained consultant works through a structured four-step process: a Pre-PA Check to assess your personal style preferences, a skin/hair/eye baseline analysis, a full 150-color drape test to find your best and worst hues, and a personalized makeup and styling consultation. You leave with a detailed Color Book, 10 PANTONE reference cards for easy shopping, and specific product-level recommendations for lip colors, eyeshadows, foundation undertones, and hair dye. The Myeongdong flagship also features an exclusive experience zone with a Tiara Zone (try on tiaras for selfies) and a Perfume Zone to find a signature scent that complements your palette. Optional add-ons include a hands-on K-beauty makeup session. The studio is an officially certified education center in Korea and carries liability insurance.
Highlights
150-Color PANTONE Drape Test: Consultant places around 150 standardized PANTONE swatches near your face under smart lighting to reveal which seasonal tone — Spring Warm, Summer Cool, Autumn Warm, or Winter Cool — makes your complexion glow and which drains it.
Smart Standardized Lighting: Purpose-built lighting eliminates the distortion of ordinary indoor or natural light, giving a clinically accurate read of how colors interact with your undertone — something a DIY mirror test simply can't replicate.
Personalized Color Book & PANTONE Cards: You walk out with a printed report covering your season, best/second-best palettes, makeup shade guide, and hair color advice, plus 10 physical PANTONE cards to use while shopping for clothes or cosmetics.
Makeup & Styling Consultation Room: In a dedicated makeup room, the consultant checks your current cosmetics pouch and recommends specific skin bases, lip colors, and eyeshadow tones suited to your type — with the chance to test products on the spot.
Exclusive Myeongdong Flagship Experience Zone: Only the Myeongdong main branch has the Tiara Zone (try on tiaras and take selfies) and Perfume Zone (find a scent that harmonizes with your personal color palette).
Body & Accessory Advice: Beyond color, consultants offer body shape analysis and recommend clothing silhouettes, jewelry metals (gold vs. silver), and accessory styles that align with your overall personal color type.

Frequently asked
Do I need to speak Korean to participate in the Colorize Myeongdong session?
Colorize Myeongdong serves a large number of international visitors and typically provides consultations in English as well as Korean. When booking through platforms like Klook, English-language service is generally available — confirm your language preference at booking to be safe.
What should I wear and bring to my personal color analysis appointment?
Arrive without makeup so your natural skin tone can be assessed accurately (makeup removal is available on-site). Wear a neutral top if possible — white or grey is ideal — so clothing color doesn't interfere with the draping. Bring your current makeup pouch; the consultant will review it and suggest which products to keep or swap out.
What do I actually receive at the end of the session?
You leave with a printed Color Book detailing your seasonal palette, best and worst colors, makeup shade recommendations, hair color advice, and styling tips. You also receive 10 physical PANTONE color reference cards showing your top hues, which you can use while shopping for clothes or cosmetics to instantly check compatibility.

Come bare-faced: Arrive without makeup so the consultant can read your true skin undertone accurately. Makeup removal is available on-site if needed, but coming fresh saves time.

Note: Klook bookings go to the Main Branch; during busy periods the session may shift to Myeongdong Branch No.2, a 3-minute walk away.
