What it is

The Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center stands 338 m tall and has been one of Macau's most recognizable landmarks since opening in December 2001. A general admission ticket gives access to the indoor observation deck on Level 58, which houses interactive exhibits and a café, and the open-air observation deck on Level 61, which wraps around the tower with unobstructed panoramic views. The outdoor level also connects to the tower's famous outer rim, where AJ Hackett operates the world's highest commercial bungee jump (233 m), a Skywalk X rim-walk experience, and a Tower Climb up the mast — all bookable separately as add-ons. Back inside, the tower also houses a revolving restaurant, a theater, a shopping area, and convention facilities, making it more than just a viewpoint.

• Night visits are popular — the city lights and casino skyline look spectacular after dark; the tower is usually open into the late evening, though hours vary seasonally so check before you go.
• Clear days offer views stretching to Zhuhai and, on rare occasions, Hong Kong; mornings tend to have less haze than afternoons, especially in summer.
