What it is

The USJ Express Pass is an optional priority-access ticket that grants you the ability to skip standby queues for a set number of USJ's most popular attractions. It is not a park entry ticket — a separate Studio Pass (1-Day or 1.5-Day) is required to get through the gates. Once inside, you present your Express Pass at designated entry lanes for each covered attraction. Passes come in numbered tiers — most commonly Express 4 and Express 7 — indicating how many attractions are included. Higher tiers typically cover more rides and often bundle guaranteed timed entry to Super Nintendo World (including the Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge and Yoshi's Adventure rides) and, depending on the variant, Mine-Cart Madness in the newer Donkey Kong Country zone. During peak periods like the USJ 25th Anniversary in 2026, standby waits for headline rides routinely hit 180–240 minutes, making the Express Pass one of the most valuable purchases you can make for a USJ visit.
